About 1 Day Blue Mountains Tour
Good Day Guys,
Only if you really think about restaurants?! We have more detailed information about wine tours to Hunter Valley
It’s hard to explain what it is about Blue Mountains National Park that gets into your blood. Could be the millions of eucalyptus trees releasing that signature blue haze, or the cliffs glowing gold at sunset while cockatoos call out across the ridges. Whatever the reason, every time I head west from Sydney Harbour toward the mountains’ fading light, I’m reminded how extraordinary this World Heritage site truly is.
I’ve been showing visitors the magic of this region — from the iconic Three Sisters at Echo Point to the ancient Jenolan Caves and the wide Megalong Valley — for years, and I can honestly say, the this is not something you tick off in a day. They’re a deep breathing antidote to city life, a natural cathedral of sandstone cliffs, waterfalls and gum-scented air.
A short 90-minute drive from Sydney’s Circular Quay, the Blue Mountains National Park is part of the wider Greater Blue Mountains conservation region. It’s a protected area of over a million hectares, extending right out to Wollemi National Park. It’s a mix of ancient rock formations, lush forests and deep ravines, habitat for more than 400 native animal species, featuring lyrebirds, wallabies, and even the rare dingo.
